Things to do in Dublin for a Unique Night Out

Today we’re looking at things to do in Dublin if you want a unique night out. We’re all for celebrating this beautiful city whether by day or at night, for there are many amazing things to do here, so read on to find your favourite evening venue.

Stroll Along the River

If you’re living on a modest budget while you’re in Dublin why not go for a gentle stroll along the River Liffey? The river looks magical at night as most urban rivers do, you’ll have some beautiful photo opportunities and there’s so much to see from the bank of the river, such as The Customs House, The Four Courts or the Ulster Bank Buildings.

Greyhound Racing

If you fancy something a little different, why not go to the races, and by that we mean greyhound racing. It’s a popular event in Dublin, and there are regular race meetings which take place at Shelbourne Park starting at different times from 6:30pm to 8pm start.

Explore the City by Night

There’s some breath-taking architecture with a rich and fascinating history. Dublin’s bridges are as beautiful as the buildings, and never more so than when there’s a night sky to behold. To get a more unique insight into Dublin’s rich history and culture why not go on a ghostly walking tour, taking in the city and outside it for an atmospheric jaunt into it’s past. There are quite a few to choose from including the Hidden Dublin Walk and The Northside Ghost Walk and the rather scarily named Hellfire Club tour. If you’re hungry after that why not try a bite to eat at La Peniche, a floating restaurant? You can enjoy delicious food while floating along Dublin’s Grand Canal in a barge.

Theatre

If you love the arts, go and see a play at any one of Dublin’s theatres, The Gate, Abbey or The Gaeity with some of Ireland’s best actors.

Roller Skating

Depending on your sense of balance and adventure you might want to try the Roller Rink in Dublin at D12. Here you can roll around with friends, dance, have fun and indulge in the roller disco vibe. You may fall over, you may not, but whatever happens you’ll have a great time as well as get some exercise.

Escape Games Dublin

Finally, our escape games in Dublin offer a great way to have fun for friends and family. You’re locked in a room with 60 minutes to get out. There are some clues and puzzles to help you, but you need to have your wits about you and examine the room to check for where these clues are hidden. Each room has a theme and whichever one you choose it’s guaranteed to keep you on your toes until the very last minute. Our last game starts at 8:30pm so if you fancy testing your grey matter and having fun with friends in the evening then book your room!
